The insulation is a little thin but its a multi layer product so they packed alot in it to insurer it will do the job...i got this for my garage door as a preparation for the cold winter months ahead

This garage door insulation kit comes with everything needed to insulate around half of a door. Being light in weight, the installed product doesn't add too much weight to the door, meaning you probably won't need to have the door springs readjusted. By taking ones time, you can get a nice clean installation, however the folds in the material detract from the finish. I don't think that laying them out or compressing the sheets would do much to eliminate the folds lines. The kit does not include enough material to cover an entire door, so make sure to measure and order accordingly.
